| cdwheatley | 14-Sep-07 12:44 | | Upper wing finished at last - took 9 pieces of tissue to cover (7 on top, 2 below)! |
| David Duckett | 14-Sep-07 16:41 | | This is just about as perfect as I can imagine it being done, although Chris might see an "imperfection" somewhere. ?? Not to these eyes! If I could do this I probably would not have learned to paint. Model planes, that is. |

| moostang51 | 14-Sep-07 18:26 | | I happen to have four eyes and this cover job looks great. |
| poppy | 14-Sep-07 18:29 | | Looks perfect to me! |
| John M Oshust | 14-Sep-07 19:05 | | Like glass, bravo cd! |
| John M Oshust | 14-Sep-07 19:09 | | Seven dorsal pieces and not a seam to be seen, wonderful! |
| cdwheatley | 15-Sep-07 06:47 | | Thank you gentlemen for your kind and encouraging words :-) The seams ARE visible (nothing major), just not in this photo. And no, I didn't arrange it with that intention! Having said that, it all turned out as well as I could possibly have hoped so I am happy with it, David! What you see here is 24 inches from tip to tip - the biggest model I've built to date. Goodness knows where I'm going to put it when it's finished! Now for the lower wing... |
