| Luke War | 22-Jan-10 19:43 | | Got the rear half done and had to test fit the halves together just to see. Without nose or tail cones the Zep is roughly twice as long as a Guillow's 400-series Mustang! |
| John M Oshust | 23-Jan-10 04:21 | | Quite a structure....give that man a cigar! |
| JohnG. | 23-Jan-10 04:47 | | Beautiful, neat work. |
| Luke War | 23-Jan-10 08:05 | | Thanks for the compliments gents. Any suggestions on how I might go about making sure the two halves are correctly aligned? The last thing I need is a bent blimp! |
| David Duckett | 23-Jan-10 08:59 | | I have heard that in England, "bent" has a slightly different connotation. My bad! ;-) |
| stirling | 23-Jan-10 11:10 | | Assuming that the middle formers,(join), are the same size, might I suggest a broom handle or metal rod up the guts from end to end. You might need to fashion a sleeve or something for the larger end to make sure the rod is dead centre. |
| Luke War | 23-Jan-10 12:31 | | Hmm, not a bad idea at all Stirling...much thanks! |
