| JohnG. | 19-Aug-12 09:32 | | The pitot was made with 1/16" AL tubing. Into the end I inserted and CAed a piece of music wire allowing it to extend out about 3/16". Using Testors Contour Putty and my fingers I fashioned the rough shape. When thoroughly dry, used an emery board to sand down the final profile. Two coats of clear nail polish to seal and a coat of AL paint. The fin is a tiny piece of AL flashing. |
