I went for a change and did a Tamiya Tomcat build with the magnifier and tweasers. (?). Interesting. I didn’t do the extreme distress versiions. Built a few Revell and gave them to my great grand boys. We went into the gift shop at the AHCW. last week And found two D-C 3 kits!,I considered that a “sign”.

sorry I forgot to select the proper airplane

this is the plan there is no green card... the white card has some little additions to the side gun turrets at the nose that's all

Painting edges with this method I recommend !!! Very little bleeding under the tape.

white paint under the tap edge... blue paint comes next... Now we'll see who wins the bleeding contest .

people " donate" these to the A H C W and we don't know how to refuse them...most kits have lots of parts missing or are partly assembled....This one is nearly complete! The instructions are available as a download but the plans are not because of proprietary issues. Our only hope is to find someone has the plans.!!

Acrylics are made of plastic so therefore they can be used on plastic, providing the flat look most of the items on a sailing ship have. Not a lot of glossy stuff on a wooden ship.

Ed, great minds think alike. I ordered last night, (trying to avoid "Wally World') tracking shows shipped today and arriving Sat. We'll see.
