| I've not built the Diels 109E, but I've liked the other Diels kits I've built, however I would highly recommend the West Wings 109E. |

The nose with the desert filtered ram air intake the most interesting part of this E-7, of course the capped spinner identifies the E-7 pedigree. |

The markings of Black 8 are from a variety of sheets in my rather extensive decal collection. Even so I had to make the black 8 with a red border. |

I use mostly Tamiya acrylic because of its availability, low smell, and variety of colors and of course it is a water clean up. |

Finished the black 8 in North Africa. One of the reasons I build so many Luftwaffe aircraft is the color schemes and this is a prime example. The 109 solldiered in every area of the European Theater and sprorted the color schemes. |
