Have fun. Who knows when Dumas will release. Definitely not a laser cut kit. And it is quite old, it's one of the first kits I ever purchased a long time ago. This and the Fokker D7 were two of my faves from WWI.

The modeling gods have caused one of these, albeit the old Guillows kit, to land in my yard:-)

John, I too would like to colour all the edges of the card where it's been cut or folded. I tried marker pens, but the ink bled into the surrounding areas and spoiled the finish. Until I can find something else that is easy to apply yet does not suffer from this problem I will have to leave all the edges exposed. I can live with it for the time being, though!

CD...When I viewed the thread of the paper model of Rommel's armoured car, that master craftsman, colored all of the edges of the cardboard. He painted them. Perhaps a magic marker can get the job done quickly!

Absolute perfection on a very difficult build. I've tried one of these. It came out looking like a 4 year old kindergarten project. Kudos and bravos to you. Excellent work!

The wing struts have been strengthened with a thin gauge piano music wire core. |
