| Out of curiosity, I searched for F105 tail markings and found the following for "MF": Squadron 563 TFS, Wing 23 TFW, McConnell AFB. |

| The tail code identifies which base an aircraft is assigned to and has nothing to do with its call sign. |

| For the first time, I filled all the fuselage spaces with balsa, sanded, and doped five times. The wings and tail are tissue covered. |
