Thanks. they all are delicate as the builder's heart but physically strong enough to fly.

All of your models are so delicate looking, yet obviously strong and great flyers. Great job!

Yes, it was but after my retirement all my models are made in more homey shop on ground just a few miles away. Still, I am living in the condo.

Cool. So this is where many great flying machines are constructed?

| Went there and got many things I wanted. Thanks.
I'm here to select 6 Cessna 172's for a flying school in Thailand, and am still in San Diego. Love it. |

I'm from San Diego. I go to Discount Hobby Warehouse on convoy street (it's off of Clairmont Mesa Road, which is right off of the 805). They sell Guillows silkspan there.

It looks like the same material in most Guillows kits, is available in three thicknesses (number of threads per inch/density), and is for wet or dry covering with dope or 50/50 white glue & water mix. I'll post a pic of it shortly.

I went to 2 big hobby shops in San Diego trying to buy silkspan but no one seemed to know what it is. Could someone tell me how it looks like? I haven't seen silkspan myself !!!! Is it for iron on or wet dope/covering?

COngrats, Pak! Looks wonderful in the air too. You need to remove that balancing plug from the battery though, or tuck it away!
