| Nice job! I agree with Brian. small dowels will work. I've become quite fond of bamboo skewers too. You can get a lot of different sizes, and they are really tough. Just drill the right size hole in the leading edge, insert and glue. Sand to get just the right length. Done! |

| i would get 4 or 5. I airbrush my planes so I don't know what brushing it would do. it's good to have a little left over. try that though. |

| Follwup question on Model Masters paint. I ordered 2 .5 fl oz bottles of the aluminum. Will that be enough or should I order more now? I am assuming 2-3 coats. I will be brushing,not spraying. |

| No luck. Were I to do this again I would cut out the cowl and dry fit just after assembling the first former. It is very close but won't slide over. I will have to use a tiny bit of putty to hide the gap 8-( |

| i use testors cement for pastic models, the red tube, it will seal around the cowl and the front of the former. it might expand a little to fit on the former. |

| I am at the stage of trying to fit the nose cowl on my tissued and doped P51 fuselage. VERY
