| Ken: Thanks for the compliment:-). IIRC the main body of the yoke was cut out a piece of 0.060" styrene. The flange was made from some 0.030 styrene cut to the basic shape then glued up. I did some final shaping and drilled for the axle after it dried for a week or so. Feel free to ask any more questions of me or anybody else on the VA website. There is a lot of knowledge here. |

| Your builds are beautiful and I have been looking at them in awe. I could never build to your level. I was impressed with the nose gear yoke you built styrene. Could you give me some insight in how you built it. Thanks |

| what an outstanding model !!
inside and out this is a real beauty, you have captured the form of this air frame and its details with tremendous accuracy. I hope you don't mind me copying this pic to my HD Ray. |

| Very nice, I have always liked that aircraft, But my favorite in that time line was the F84, the early ones with the straight wings. Loved the F 101 VooDoo a bit later on. Much better airplane than the F 100 in M.H.O. |

| Don: If you type the Registration # into Google, there are about 4 websites that will give you the information on the plane, up to and including flight-plans and where the plane currently is. It also works for foreign A/C: Quite a neat thing. |

| Being curious, I sent a letter to Curtiss-Wright. Maybe we'll learn some more. |

| Wow! Where did you find this? It was flown by a good friend and neighbor of ours from about 1987-1997 or so. |

| Used that color on a couple of U-control. Pretty spiffy back then. Nice Scorpion! |
