As with the red on the Gee Bee, the blue is very translucent so the underpainting is blue with gray added.

Covering is finished. The canopy is not covered and is being worked with gesso. It has about 5 coats of dope on it which will make it spend the night outside. Painting should start tomorrow.

I was 13 when the movie Bridges at Toko-Ri was released and while I don't remember the story, I do remember the Panthers. It has been a favorite ever since.
