Two coats of primer with sanding and filling in between. Seems to be comming out nice and smooth. A couple of more primer coats and filling and it should be ready for color!

LIke Steve, I stuck with the stock 1/16" stringers. You can also see that I experimented with some different glues. I used Titebond III wood glue for the keels. I'm sure it's strong, but it was pretty messy. Switched to Testor's wood glue, especially for the planks, per DD's advice.
