I am not happy with the results and think I am going to rebuild and call this a prototype. I need to come up with a better glue, larger valve covers and a better paint job. heywooood 27-Mar-19 18:22 Fwiw I think it looks pretty good. Maybe one suggestion would be instead of painting the threads of those set screws/cylinders you just sand the black anodizing off very lightly. Use a fine emory board or bit of 400 grit on the threads only. The pushrods on the real planes I have looked at seemed to have black ends with silver or natural rods.
