What glue are you using to stick the foil down? crob 06-Aug-21 14:19 Hi Jgood and thanks, I use Micro Metal Foil Adhesive from Microscale. I cut out an oversized piece, paint on the glue and let dry for about 30 seconds or so. Tack down to the plastic and burnish with a rolled paper trunnion. After that, a toothpick is the best tool for the job IMO. I’ve gotten to where I’ll burnish the entire thing with it. #11 razor to trim it all out, then Rosie the riveter sprocket tool to create riveting effects : ) crob 06-Aug-21 15:00 Forgot to mention a little be goes a LONG way! I've done 5-6 1/48 models including the 17 and have only used about 10% of a bottle.
