Looks like the mounting rail and Foster mount will need some adjustments for this to sit right on the wing. |

I like it! Great craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing the materials list. |

Thanks guys. Ed, construction is 1/4" aluminum tubing for the barrel housing (upside down in picture), brass tubing for the barrel and gas chamber, stained balsa for the pistol grip, polyurethane coated balsa (to seal the wood before painting) for the receiver, an oval jewelry-making accessory for the trigger guard, and various bits of styrene for trim and for the bolt. The spade handle is a curved metal strip and a dowel. I will paint it flat black and assemble it tomorrow. |

Your efforts in reproducing scale or scale approximate components is exemplary. I have found that most kits regardless of mfg inly approximate their ‘scale’ whenever they offer a 30” wingspan or 24” wingspan. I use the math to figure it out. Also typical on older period aircraft I typically use smaller scale pilots than indicated because most are based on a 6’ tall human body..but in 1917-18 people were much smaller.. |

I appreciate those kind words. If the gun smashes into the windscreen you can take them back. No hard feelings. |

I'm pretty sure the sign on the door says "master builder at work" - and if it doesn't - it should |
