They come out easily and can now be sanded or carved.

Mixture poured into, and around, the pieces
David Duckett, Image # 625030 Jan 08 22:01

The 2 parts mixed per instructions, half and half and stirred.

The pieces have been sprayed with the release agent, brushed out, then sprayed again. Wait 5 minutes before filling.

I built one of these in 1957. I remember it being a great kit, except no clear canopy parts. Plans had a pattern for canopy so you could use clear cellophane. Paid $.98 for it. Ahh, inflation. I look forward to seeing this one built again.

Indeed I did.

I bet you paid $43.00 for this one. I was watching it. Good job DD. There is one of these parked at the Billings Mt. Airport painted in the same scheme as the one flew in the movie Always.

Dead giveaway are those 8 MG's out the nose. Look at the firepower this badboy had. Check out the wings also. Devastation, 14 guns of hell raining down. Ouch.

Lucky man - I would have loved a dark sky site such as this for my back garden when I was into astronomy. I would have got some great views with my home made 6" Dobsonian or my Meade 4" SCT.
