Very nice, I actually was at an airfield in New Jersey about 15 years ago and a guy had a real one he restored. He fired it up and took off in less than 50 feet, amazing lift with all the slats and flaps.

Properly relieving this sentry (#5) is very important to avoiding enormous puddles. Thanks boats.

Thanks Poppy. Most of the time she was gaining 1/2 lbs. per day. She may still be gaining that much as she eats 6 cups a day, but weighing her frequently isn't as easy as it used to be.

Great looking model, and a super cute puppy. From your latest post, he has grown quite a bit.

The background of this picture shows what kept me busy for about two months this summer. We tore out a bunch of carpet, linoleum, and particle board (1600lbs worth) and installed about 540 sq. ft. of new flooring. We brought in a pro to sand and finish the new and old floors, this is one of the original 1961 floors.

I had been very apprehensive about the windows, but it turned out to be easy enough and was just slow going waiting for the canop glue to dry. In several places my application of glue could have been a lot less sloppy, but it sn't terrible.

My little helper is now 9 months old and about 100 lbs. No work has been done on the model since the previous photo with her.

I have it too light at one point then overcompensated when darkening and decided to leave well enough alone as I have some books that show a color like this being used. She's a Bullmastiff puppy, 9 weeks old tomorrow.

This is one cute pup! What is it?

For good reason!

It's looking good, the landing gear gave me fits. I usually lighten most colors by adding 25% white. Among the plastic people there is a whole regime about lightening paint.

Your assistant looks tired from all of the work!

The green came out a bit darker than what I had in mind initially, but I think it'll do just fine.
