On the minus side - you do have to be careful with them around gentle structures... Knock a few over, and you can destroy stringers, etc. |

Ed, it has advantages and disadvantages, as everything. On the plus side, it's really secure, and I like that the magnets are not 'points', so they spread their load over a larger area. No holes in your model. They hold plans flat. Less chance of glue going through pin holes in the wax paper to your plan. The magnets are also nice and square, so you can put two vertically with a rib or former between them, which will be absolutely perpendicular to the board - really nice feature! |

Looks like your doing a fine job of it! You can go down to the local hardware store and buy a larger sheet. You just need a larger flat surface to set it on and more magnets. For building a box fuselage with squares, I would rather use pins and tacks. I like magnets for keel and bulkhead style fuselage. |
