His face looks like one of the blue meanies from The Yellow Submarine.

It is such a cool school! Wish I had this when I was in school, and I hope all the students remember it later in life.

They have most definitely gone to a wonderful home. Honestly, it is quite touching.

Lt. Kije is the name of a Symphonic Suite, Opus 60 composed by Sergei Prokofiev and Petrouchka is a Ballet composed by Igor Stravinsky. Is that clear Folks???
David Duckett, Comment for image # 285503 Jun 10 16:21
Perhaps, Pak, you might recognize these two.

I think that's the starter link on the nose. These were started by a motor attached to the back of a truck with a long shaft that spun the prop shaft. Great picture!

Now thats original and it looks as if had a connon in the nose of it.

After much searching, this one is in the mail to my house. As someone once said, "there really is a Santa Claus." It too will sport some Soviet motif. The B-25 was pushed back again.

These are 2" and just slightly over 2 1/2" and the red dots go in the middle. If you can use these, they'll be in the mail Monday.

The boys working on the Mess say "danke schon". With the next four days off, some work needs to be done.

I was wondering how I was going to do this. Thanks DD.

This is attached with medium CA. The front and back areas of the fuselage where it sits were sanded down so that the transition would not be so abrupt. Because there's so much extra plastic there's no reason to worry about the CA fogging the clear areas. It's also not necessary to use much. Filler was then used to make all the areas of contact smoother before starting the painting process.

DD, After searching through the gazillion aircraft you built, I was wondering how you attached this canopy. The Mess canopy, well is a mess since I'm not going to install the armorplate and is quite similar to this one as far as extra styrene beyond the limits of the canopy frame which sits on the fuselage. Was going to pm you, but maybe your technique, OGO (Oh Great One) would be found helpful to other modelers.
