Next step is to carve the "cowling fairing blisters" (above the exhaust stacks) and the "carburetor air intake" (bottom front) from balsa blocks |

Thanks! I'm open to all suggestions at this point relative to colors. I've pics of it in green, gray, and light gray and there's a stunning blue scheme for the navy version but I haven't really researched it yet. It's not the normal Spitfire so I want really good colors. |

Your coverings are all so perfect. I like the extra stringers and effect it gives. Think I will try this on next build. Have you decided on color scheme? I have a pic of one at Oshkosh that looks great. |

Adding 3/32" stock to the two 1/16" laminations which is the leading edge. 3/32" = 2.4 mm, 1/16" = 1.5mm. |
