Have you seen those tiles, after it lands. They look like charcoal. I was on the Apollo 8 prime recovery ship the USS Yorktown. The tiles looked like charcoal when it's been burned part way. That was quite a sight. We were a mile from it and saw it enter the atmosphere and splash down. Very impressive. I saw Apollo 6 take off, that was impressive also!

It needs a prop, guns, and maybe, another wing! Make sure the seals work on the O2 tanks....avoid diaster....also check out the ceramic tiles! What color???

That is a problem. Send it my way, I'll drink it and remove your problem. :-)

I wouldn't eat it, even with A-1 on it. It's too pretty.

And the model is also looking great!

Better start cutting out some balsa!

Your guess is correct.

"Ola, Houston!" "Hay problema!!"

What is the plan with the wing covering? It looks like sheeting or filling in would work well, but my guess is you are going to cover as is with silkspan.

"Yes, it really is that important."

Alright, back to serious modeling. I've made the front section of the wing from wood instead of using the supplied plastic pieces. The elevons are tack glued on for sanding and shaping.

Shame on you! Da, the trinkets have arrived ;-)
