I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Tiny cylinder block / heads for the 30hp VW engine. These will be wound with thread to give the appearance of the cooling fins.

Makes me want to resurrect the "Little Guy"! Cool. Looks great. Glue Stick. All it did for me was piss me off. I'm definately doin' something wrong. Help!

Thanks s.f., this was at f1.8, so a very shallow depth of field. The vertical & horizontal stabs both have a single piece of tissue wrapped around, held on with glue-stick glue. No warping happened, probably because I covered dry.

Nice covering job. Due to the fuzziness of the tail, I can't tell for sure, did you tissue the sheet tail surfaces? If so, how did you keep them from warping?

OK, I've got my building board setup again, I'm going to finish this little guy off first. Basically covered now, but needs lots of finishing off, and detailing. Then, hopefully, to fly using rubber power. That's the plan...

Thanks! It's 12". Just FYI, you can see that for most models on here, but clicking the 'View Details' link on the left side of the screen, under 'view by aircraft'.

Great job! What is its wingsapn?

Wings completed, and tail plane in place. Fin and wings just taped into place.

Looking good. It's also good to see a Peck Polymer kit on the site. I've seen them mentioned, but have seen very little about them from a build standpoint. Thanks.

Yes, I got it after the Triplane. It's very good, I think, I'm quite looking forward to my next big aircraft. I've only done the Hurricane and this Turbulent on it. I think scigs uses one too...

Have you just recently converted to a magnetic building board, James? How are you finding it?
jgood, Image # 679426 Feb 08 09:17

Top formers and stringers now in place. Looks a little like a turbulent now.

The magnetic building board is useful for aligning these types of fuselage. The slab sides have 1/16 sq reinforcements glued on the inside.

This laser cut peck polymers kit seems to be very nicely done. I'm hoping this should be a good rubber flyer.
