Wow, that's some serious panel lines David! Looks great.

If life deals you an orange, draw panel lines on it. The plan is from tdmsoftware.com/tdmmodels and the pen is a Faber-Castell which I found at Michaels, about $12 for 4 sizes.

I think he would have spent some time on this website, if he'd had access...

Thanks, and yes it will and so will the Bearcat. I had to "special order" a part. I carved one set of blades, or started to, for Jack but they just weren't "in the fingers" today so now the 2nd set is waiting to be carved tomorrow morning. It took three trys to get the spinner right!

This is becoming another of your great builds. Will this one have props? I noticed the Bearcat didn't have any.

Classic finish David. Great colours!

Thanks, all. The prototype color is wild, no doubt, and the real trick is to get an orange that isn't garish and will look good with the red of the hinomarus. Since I don't know what the actual color was, I just mix until I get what looks right to me. But then, it's always like that.;-) Jerry and I also share Shindens in our hangers and there aren't many of them, either. This kit is no longer manufactured but David Diels did produce a laser cut trial kit and might bring it to market if there's any interest. I like the design of the plane and I'm starting to like the orange more and more.
