| Gonna do some trout fishin'? Too bad you couldn't have been in the area in five more weeks. Coulda squeeked in a couple days at the Reno Air Races. Sept 16-20. Used to do a yearly "Pilgrimage". Might start again this year and bring Jimmy along and camp in the parking lot. Nothing like waking up to the sound of P-51s, Bearcats, and other big round roundies (Yaks and stuff) flight testing at dawn. |

Doesn't look too good when first applied, but it dries nice and tight. |

Wing panel with grey, kit supplied tissue. Tissue has been stuck on with a glue stick, and now is getting a coating of watered down white glue to shrink it. It's held down while drying to stop warping. It dries in about 15 minutes. |

Wing panel getting the correct dihedral added on the root rib. The magnet board is great for aligning everything, and holding things without pins. |

Cowling on, and painted red (enamel). Will need another coat, I think. |

Extra fillets added in to help in seating of the plastic cowling. The shape of the cowl was slightly off at the back, and this allowed the plastic to be cut away, exposing the wood of the fillets. |
