Insignia lightly sanded. Model Master no glosss clear spray makes the blue dark again. |

Wing walks. Insignis in 3 steps: blue, white bars, and here the stars. Decals are easier. |

Time for wheels. Pin didn't want to stay in - air pressure - hence the rubber band until the glue dries. |

Duh, just caught the point of the message. B-36s in the background. They were big muthas! |

B-47, not B-36. A B-36 would dwarf this jet. |

Now that is a carbon foot print, where is the EPA? |

B-36's, Nice picture, Thanks. |

And for ElbertC - While this is a cool picture, what caught my eye is located far away on the ground. |

Monogram 1/32. If you pull the prop out and rotate it CCW, the gear retracts. I' afraid to dust near the "wires". Very realistic to me back then. Now it's more fun to try to create all those little details. |

It has weathered the test of time well. Hasegawa 1/32 scale I presume? |

This one's about 55. Quite an interesting aircraft. |

Glad that it worked. Scans will be forthcoming. |

Thanks, Ray. I would appreciate that. By the way, I soldered the washer on the brass rod with my new butane pencil torch. Thanks for the tip. Really works well. |

DD, been meaning to upload this for you for a while now. This was 25 Jan, looking east to SE at sunset. Highly unusual. |

Glad to see progress. BTW, I was looking through some of my old Wings/Airpower mags last night and found a great article on the C-46 flying the Hump. If you would like, I could scan the article (about 10 pages) for you. |
