Hi poppy, this will be my next build, I have put the 2000 series P-38 on hold till I get better at painting, I need to know, what you use to create the panel lines,, a sharpie prehaps??

Wheel fairings each built in 5 pcs. and shaped after installation. Gear is 2 pc. aluminum tube w/basswood oleo struts and plastice tube for linkeage and tow hook.

Poppy, totally awesome. Those undercarriage oleo wheel fairings ...stunning job. I just had to pull the shrinkwrap off mine that's on my to build list just to check their application to this model.

poppy - your attention to detail is truly inspirational. The ring and bead sight are so delicately modelled. Rear view mirror, guns, aerial, cockpit.... More than gives any injection molded model a run for it's money. Again, it's hard to believe that THIS is a balsa model!
