I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

That's a beautiful model too.

Anders: thank you. That's great detail that I needed for the fuel line drain coming off the header tank and ending at the top wing trailing edge.

Thank you Anders, The photos are greatly appreciated and despite all of the previous photos I've collected and used, these were much needed; especially the sub wing detail on the landing gear.

Anders: thank you for answering my question on the exhaust manifold. By coincidence, I just finished working on mine (see S.E. 5) and was intrigued. Your exhaust represented some elbaorate work of art few people can measure up. Very good! Your model is turning out great.

Engine should have been sanded a little more, but i ran out of patience
Anders, Image # 3645629 Jul 16 18:05

And also i failed at the plastic parts. i sanded the edges and glued with the glue i use on plastic kits thinking the plastic would kind of melt a little and blend more in. More paint should fix it a little atleast
Anders, Image # 3645529 Jul 16 18:01

I only had Humbrol number 53 Gun metal, regret not planning this better and give the parts more contrast

To skye, its made of 3 pices. Two ends of sheet and the bend in the middle is a carved block. To Don, that would certanly end with some crazy maneuvers to confuse the brits :) To Huey, if interested you can look up The Vintage Aviator Collection. I follow them on Facebook, and they have the biggest collection in the world. New pics and wideos every day, even one of building an Albatros from first nail to flying it.

Just for some info, a friend informed me that at Oshkosh, there are some WWI replicas with original engines. They started up a Albatross DIII. Said it sounded like a tractor.

Nice work. Instead of a larger rudder, how about linking this to the rudder like ailerons? :)
