I usually leave my center sections uncovered also. This looks fine. Sometimes an overlaid patch will cover any small wrinkles left. |

Practice makes perfect. |

The wing after drying off. I had to replace the centre section because of a small tear so I did it in two sections leaving the centre open as it was much easier that way. |

Wing tissued - roughly the third attempt - and sprayed with water. Hope tissueing gets easier with experience, I was just about fit to pack in after try number two! |

Here's the wing assembled. |

The smallest amount of CA you can get on the point of a needle , carefully applied, will hold any tape in place. |

Everyone seems to find their Hurricanes to be tail-heavy so I thought there'd be no harm carving these more accurate exhausts |

Yep...good way to go. Your LHS should have the striping/trim tape in various colors and widths. |

Nice job. I have used striping tape with similar pleasurable results. |

I have tried different techniques, but this is one I will try. This looks great! |

Canopy frame using my tried and trusted "can't be bothered painting the fiddly bits so just use strips of electrical tape" method. Rather helpful in this case that I'm making a blue Hurricane. I do have to wonder whether Guillow's are all that familiar with the front of a Hurricane canopy though. |

The beginnings of a Hurricane. |

Bravo PC! It will be interesting to see this craft without the B of B RAF scheme! though I am partial to the RAF desert camo. best of luck with build... first try looks great! |

Since I'll need blue tissue paper for the Cherokee anyway I think I'll make this one up as G-AMAU. Alternately I could make it as G-AFKX, a Hawker testbed painted silver. |

and so begins model number 2. Going to build this up as practise before tissuing the Cherokee. |
