At last a harbinger of spring. Crocus longiflorus. Unfortunately not the saffron variety. Snow showers possible tonight. Ho hum!

Shoot, stringer and all....gone! Poor fish not going to have a happy remainder of life!

fly fishing, rainbow, stocked,on a wooly bugger. I put it on a stringer and went back to fishing, it got loose with the stringer and swam off, I looked back and there was nothing there, no trace whatsoever.

Brian, Super!! Brook, brown, or rainbow? Fly fishing or bait? Native or stocked?

Spatial orientation for the pending air screw fabrication. Awaiting the wood supply.

The aerodynamically superb air scoop is tweaked a tad.
John M Oshust, Image # 3368129 Mar 15 14:55

The air scoop is securely held in place with a bungee made from some elastic chord. Two faux turn buckles inserted into the engine pit wall, hold the bungee in place. I would not be surprised if the real BE12a used a similar method.

Third time was the charm for the air scoop. The first fabrication utilized card stock, the second sheet styrene. The third and, fortunately, final attempt Al roof flashing....Bingo...success! I added a patina to eliminate the annoying glare.

Being true to his word my little pal, our little friend, Gumby, departed this day. With his worldly necessities in his little travel package he is off to lands south of the border. Mexico is his destination. He believes that employment there is easy to find, due to the vast numbers of illegal immigrants traveling north.

Matt, Thanks a great deal. Looks like we get temps In the mid twenties tonight. I have been told that the cold builds character!! On a spring note while collecting the winter deposit of dog poop from the property today, I did notice crocus blooming. My fruit trees made it through the winter and are already pushing buds. Spring is waiting in the wings:-))

rayl, Thanks for you kind offer. I have a bundle of hardwood blanks in my workshop, at the cabin, in PA. My table saw lives there. This past deer season I brought the wood to the ranch with the intention of slicing and dicing. Due to the fog of deer camp, the slicing and wrapping of a buck, and my friend Johhnie Walker, the wood task slipped by the wayside. I do not intend to travel there until the end of April, hence the need for the cue stick blank:-))

John, next time save your money. Let know what type of wood & what size and I'll send it to you. I have many, many scraps of wood, exotic and otherwise that need to be put to good use.
