Hard to show the rudder pedals, but they're hooked up.

Knew someone some years ago that loved Mr. 45/70. Got a nice 8 point. What he didn't know he also got Mr 8 points wife at the same time. Took some explaining.

Congrats. Bingo! I was at camp for ten days with ten close friends and relatives. I, unfortunately, was the only attendee for every year. People move away, close friends expire. Very bad weather. Snow, then days of soaking rain. No one seemed to care. We laughed, drank a tad, and cooked meals our doctors would forbid.

John O - Next to last day. Looked bigger coming through the woods. The one day I didn't take the 45-70.

Skye, just saw your question. Answer is: I don't know. Nothing is marked in the pictures that I have and to complicate things 2 extra knobs show up on the right side of the instrument panel in one or 2 pictures. I am doing the blue.

Don't mean to detract from the colors being discussed, but that hand crank has my curiosity piqued. Is it to the elevator trim?

OR; The fancy-smancy paper shelves at your local Hobby Lobby.

Try to find a used old purse at a yard sale or used clothing store like Goodfellows or Salvation Army.

It does look like some of your paintings.

I'd bet you'd be surprised at how colorful life was in the B/W era. The blue naugahyde could easily have been used in the plane. Remember, pilots could be a very flamboyant bunch of attention getters.

I meant to add that this is the way it looks now sitting in the New England Air Museum.

Naugahyde hit the market in '29, since this one was built in '30 it could have been used, but the blue just doesn't seem right. All old pics are black and white. Any suggestions?

Thanks gentlemen. I'm glad I didn't try a "Double Wasp" the first time.

That looks heavy duty. The blue and gray really makes it look "metallic".

Well done.
