Though Gumby and Pokey were reunited, production on the Baboon is on hold. The 42 year old Peerless boiler in the house furnace is cracked. The furnace and burner will be replaced one day this week. OUCH!! |

Harbor Frieght, very inexpensive and utilitarian. The small chop saw, that resides past the mini Grinder, also saves work and improves precision. If I remember correctly the chop saw was less than $25.00! |

A note of caution. Even the most trained Pokey type critters can be scared by new things. 15 years of partnership and I tried to teach Eeyore to pull logs with the lasso. She didn't like it and for the first time ever put me rather unceremoniously on the ground. We don't do that anymore. |

That sander must be a very useful tool. I think I need one. |

Gumby seems to have weathered his "off-time" well. Any stories of Senoritas or other bacchanalia to regal us with?? |

Thanks. The mini shop is dedicated to aero plane construction. It has been idle for a year and a half. |

To all carbon units that frequent Virtual Aerodrome... Merry Christmas! Santa brought Pokey to help with the heavy lifting as we construct the Baboon. |

Eager to embark on this adventure in animal husbandry, Gumby surveys the plans, lumber, and spare parts. It is so nice to have him home for Christmas! |

JohnO - Please open the kit and take a pic of the contents - the suspense and my eager impatient curiosity is killing me! |

Locked in this parcel is a Baboon. With the help of my building buddy, Gumby, I shall attempt to set the Ape "FREE"! |
