| Haven't got a Stuke you say, well make your own young man. Not a bad recreation and it's full size ! I had no idea the Stuka was so big, no wonder it became Spitfire bait during the Battle of Britain. |

| Because Hurricanes are topical I took this shot today of the one outside our local air museum in Omaka, New Zealand. This example is in fact one of the wooden full size replicas created for the 1968 Battle of Britain movie. It was imported several years ago and fully refurbished and is now very difficult to pick as a giant kitset model rather than the real thing. Cool eh ! |
