testing, testing...these are courtesy of John O. A test piece shows great adhesion and the red is actually much better than it shows here. Thankfully the cuts are all straight lines.

Aluminum! The spray, yes spray, paint is made by the same company that makes monokote. After drying overnight I'll give it a couple of more coats.
