The DF loop is copper wire twisted to shape around a paint brush handle and the mount is basswood carved to shape.

I really enjoyed painting this scheme. The swastikas came from a sheet of swastikas of different sizes and the 107 was from the decal scrap box, the crosses are all kit decals.

The screening behind the spinner is plastic window screen trimmed to fit, the engine mounted 30mm gun in the spinner is plastic tubing.

FYI...Fellow "wingnuts"..these are floral arranging pins. The longest is the standard size. I cut them to varied lengths to pin structures to the board. They cut easily and provide great support.
