The canpry section is held by small magnets. A strip of velcro keeps the battery in place. James, I don't know how long this battery will last - I am still waiting for the propeller to arrive in the mail.

The motor is held by a rubber band. This is my first conversion to electric power and this method allows me to experiment with different motors. This one is a GWS 350.

The cowl is removable - it's held by the two black screws that go into the motor.

I'm starting to like this spinner scheme. Tried two different masks for first coat with same bleeding results. DD, any ideas? Found tape forms to ellipse but releases on tighter side each time.

This puppy has some LONG legs. So do I. They don't look exactly right but they work. One comment I found said the "legs" on this plane were like those on Marlene Dietrich, another well known German. At te time. ;-)
