I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

This aircraft has no main interplane struts. the upper wing is supported only on the centre section struts. (see my first pic on here)

Explain "No struts" please.

Really looks nice, Bob. I agree on struts. Wires are troublesome too.

Im afraid my eyesight isnt what it ought to be anymore and I struggle with these model builds as it is. I would love to revisit that area of interest and Ive looked at tilt tables and sliding squares often and thought about it just to mess around with.

....are you tempted to do some model aircraft drawing then. Or do you already do so?
bobgood, Comment for image # 4457215 May 24 12:43
I totally agree with your comments!

My favorite class in HS was draughting and technical illustration. I liked the isometric and exploded view diagrams. Amazing to realize that every single individual part and component of the Apollo program was first rendered on paper by hand - along with every other product made before the current CAD age. I would love to lay eyes on the Apollo drawings.

No plans for this aircraft Brian. I drew my own. I was a draughtsman for the early years of my working life. and I still enjoy putting pencil to tracing paper. Never took to CAD!

Sure looks good, Bob. Did you ever find plans, or are you winging it? (pun intended)

Waiting for LE & TE balsa so that I can finish the frames, then do the 1/16" skinning ( the wings of the original were plywood covered)
