Heywooodm, just thought you might be interested in knowing that GasPatch has come out with turnbuckles and clevis ends for your rigging. They're 1/16th scale but pretty close to your model. If you can't read the ad clearly enough to obtain the website address it's: www.gaspatchmodels.com

Seems I hit a bit of snag during my experiments with chrome vinyl. It tends to be heat-sensitive. Room temps were "only 75-80 degrees. I was told it was "gassing" out. Or bubbling. Anyone have suggestions?

Just as equally, each infill results in at least one broken stringer....

Rigging: this is the ideal RAFer flat wire rigging we've all been waiting for. We have two basic sizes: .4mm and .8 mm, in my opinion, the .8mm is the best choice for our biplane models for those who wish to go the extra distance in detailing. They're very flexible, have already been annealed and very easy to cut and stretch. No stress imposed on the stick-n-tissue types.

I ordered the 50' roll and got the 100' roll instead. Good deal

This is a new larger sized Vape strip at .8mm. This is by far what I feel will be very compatible with our scaled biplanes at between 1 1/12th -1 1/4th. The one on the left is .8mm and the one on the right is .4mm that I originally posted.

As you can see, it's comparable to my efforts of slicing thin pieces of paper used for rigging on my PT-17. Although not easily seen here, it's about 1/3 to 1/4th the size of my rigging. Really nice and comes in 50' and 100' rolls. I got the 100' roll from Amazon for $8.50 plus free shipping.

As you can see, it's very thin to scale. It's made of shiny metal and really easy to use.

This might help solve our quest for that elusive flat RAFer rigging. I've just ordered this stuff that is used for those who Vape. it can be purchased through Amazon

When you get to the end of your "roll, if all goes well, you should have the desired length of strip...
