If it wasn't for the alligator clip I would swear I was looking at the real thing. Excellent work poppy. |

Hold on their cowboy!!! From all the blue inside the folds it would appear to be a depth chart of the waters that this carrier based aircraft flew over. No, no, no. My aircraft has a street map locating all of the lovely French "ladies houses" just in case fuel ran a little low on the return from the Spit engagement over the English Channel. |

Looks great poppy. Can't help also admiring that finish on the model behind it though - smooth as silk! |

As I said before this one belongs at the aviation museum at NAS pensicola. A great museum to visit, I could spend days there looking at all the displays. |

This is about as close to art as a model airplane can get. And it's not finished yet. There may actually be a modeling god after all. Check the reflection of the wheel on the wing. The addition of that brake line is inspired. |

Nice work poppy, the brake lines look great! |

And the details keep on coming. Really nice. |

Thanks, all are too kind. Moos, these are kit wheels. I cut Guillows logo off w/X-acto knife, sand smooth, glue together, and paint with Dreamcote charcoal acrylic. |

Whoa!!! Double ditto. The paint job looks super. Are those the kit supplied wheels? If so how did you achieve the rubber look? I rubbed the kit wheels with 400 then 600 grit paper for a softer grey color look, but as Fernando would say "yours look marvelous." JFB!!! |

Ditto that DD. Looks amazing already, can't wait to see the finished article. |
