I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

I wasn't sure if I wanted these on my P-38 at first, but after looking at them closer & a little research, how could I not? lol. They look cool and go boom.

The real deal.

Cut the slots to hold fin assemblies with a Dremel tool. Shaped nosecones with pencil sharpener, then sanded to correct profile.

That is one ugly piece of work. I don`t get it.

But if you could cut the floor out from his studio, frame it, you could sell it as art for a bazillion dollars

Oh, and... Jackson Pollack was insane, and worse... disorganized... *LOL*
BillParker, Comment for image # 2679605 Jul 12 10:00
I was taught that if it ain't impressionist, it ain't art... Never understood "modern..." Modern art includes artistic works produced during the period extending roughly from the 1860s to the 1970s, and denotes the style and philosophy of the art produced during that era. The term is usually associated with art in which the traditions of the past have been thrown aside in a spirit of experimentation. Modern artists experimented with new ways of seeing and with fresh ideas about the nature of materials and functions of art. A tendency toward abstraction is characteristic of much modern art. More recent artistic production is often called Contemporary art or Postmodern art.

Jackson Pollack that sold for $140 million in 2006. I think Dave's abstract looks way better.

Poppy, you could've saved me a few hours and a lot of swear words with that masking tape tip last week. lol, Thanks.

An idea for the bands on bombs. Cut thin strips of masking tape, paint them, and attach to bomb.

Thanks guys. They were the standard bombs from the kit. I just doctored them up a little. I put reinforcement balsa disks inside for strength. (see build photo of droppable bombs) Seams were smoothed with Testors plastic putty. After a few unsuccessful attempts to tape off & paint the 3 ring yellow band HE markings, I ended up free handing the painting. The gray fuses in front are cut off shish-kabob skewers. K-BOOM!
