I am enjoying building now and it's probably due to having a dedicated studio/workshop to some degree. I heard once that when two people meet, even briefly, they each take part of the other with them and I think that's true of modeling. Sharing is important to me because I have learned so much from others. Inspiration comes from many sources, Don's build of this plane gave me the start and seeing the interior of my buddy Moostang's P-39 provided the impetus for what I'm still working on. And then there's the rear cockpit..... |

it is coming along fairly quickly, Dave - I think you've earned a break lol - between this aircraft and the T28 I'd say your inspiration level is at a high watermark. Speaking for myself this has been very fun to witness. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us man |

I love this site! There have been beautiful and unique builds here for years but it seems, after being off-site for a while, that there is suddenly a plethora of outstanding models and new members as well. Just look at the comments and pictures, it's truly a sharing and encouraging community. |

Thanks, guys. I'm taking a break today, sitting in the sun on the back patio drinking Arizona green tea with ginseng. There was a time it would have been Corona. I do not miss those days, at all. |

Definitely worth the effort. It looks great. I especially like the arm chair. That could be the most comfortable seat I've seen. |

When I decided to detail the interior, I didn't realize it would be an entire house! I've been at this all week and still have things to make. |

Thanks. The front radome was white, or black, or yellow. |

It now has 3 coats of light gray acrylic which will be , more or less, the bottom color. I have to build some chairs and stuff for the interior before continuing with the paint job. |

I've put a couple of coats of gesso on and it has dried a couple of days so today I'll start sanding it smooth. These covered tail pieces will not get gesso. |

He said he used it on the F-14 and the B-29. |

If I recall, Julnick used gesso on his F-14. Are you around sir? |
