elevatoranj, Comment for image # 921030 Aug 08 00:55
don't you just hate it when that happens

Perfect, absolutely perfect!! As said previously, the recipients of these will be proud of the fact that you took the time and had the talent to reproduce these. I salute you!

I am either amazed the most at how I cannot spot any differences among the four, or that someone (you) took the time and effort to make them.

Is the process getting any easier??

We all have no doubt you can. Looks perfect DD.

DD, we had two storms converge over Phoenix last night. We were out of power from 9:30 pm until 2:30 am. There must have been at least an inch of rain last night. Now there is a palm tree laying across our street. Fortunately it is not a cul-de-sac, so people can still come and go. It sure made for an absolutely gorgeous sunrise this morning.

I was going to use this forum announce my engagement to Novice Builder, I certainly have sprung to life, but she objected to being referred to as a decaying host.

I think that with the recent rains, that you have just begun to see the huge variety of fungi that will pop up. The aforementioned book has 700+ pages with tons of photos. Mushroom spores can lie dormant for years, just waiting for the decaying host to spring to life again.

google mushrooms of the desert southwest by David Arora. That will keep you scrolling til your eyes bleed

Or a P-38? I'm sure the survivors will appreciate your hard work and thoughtfulness.

Thanks, Poppy. # 4 is underway...

'Tis hard to believe that these were individually painted as opposed to silk screening. DD, these are beautiful and anyone in receipt of one should treasure it. Well done and kudos to the vet who produced them.

I realized yesterday that there is another one needed for one of the survivors who doesn't frequent our vets site and won't be at the reunion because he'll be attending the graduation of his Grandson from Test Pilot School at the time. I'll go to town tomorrow for another canvas.

He should be proud of the result! Robert Taylor could not have done better!!
poppy, Comment for image # 915021 Aug 08 09:40
Perfect! It could have been silkscreened and not look better.
