Awesome job..........since you did not build it to fly, you should carve a scale prop for it instead of using the plastic one.

I didn't build to fly, but I may do taxi trials.

Unfortunately I didn't really build it to fly, although I may do some taxi tirals with it.

Very nice detailing. Little things like the aerial take-up pulley on top of the canopy always make the model.

I did add a red trim tab to the rudder as well a white navigation light just below the nav light.

The red "stick" in the center of the wing is the landing gear lowered indicator.

The wing root cannon is aluminium tubing and the outboard cannon is carved from a bass wood dowel.

The space in front of the instrument panel just behind the windscreen is painted flat black.
jerry campbell, Image # 306001 Jun 07 21:11

The armored head rest is held in place with two pieces of left over landing gear wire cut to length and painted dark grey the same as the rest of the cockpit. Beneath the headrest was a red instruction plaque with white letters

The supplied instrument panel with a little added color looks quite nice. It must be trimmed to fit.

The cooling fan blades are painted gun metal on a flat black background

The area around the coolng gills is painted Bllack to hide exhaust stains. I am very close to adding decals to the Wurger (Butcher Bird). I still have some work to do to the cockpit.

The canopy has been painte and set in place to see how it fits. th motteling runs on to the tail.

Painting is nearly complete. The motteling on the sides is a mixture of RLM Gray, Litght Gray and Gray Green. The engine cooling fan is painted gun metal.
