The white glue and talcum powder is amazing stuff. You can't see it, but I have a silky smooth finish on this wood. once I primer I will be able to see and fill the tiny imperfections and will have my first Duckett/Oshust/Poppy/et al. (D.O.P.E) method, pro-modeller type finish! I am giggly with excitement. If I didn't mention you by name I apologize. I know there are a slew of first rate builders on this site. I hope to be one some day...

hopefully the hinges and glue will finish out nicely. I hope once the primer and paint is on theyh become less obvious.

They won't do it more than once. You should get about 3 minutes with that gas tank I see in the foto. The dizzy problem will go away after about 3 or 4 tanks. Really... That's why they used to spin the astronauts around all the time. gettum used to it... How long will your lines be. On that little feller, I'd go with about 26 foot... (before you ask, 26 is where we're at after about 40 years of spinning around in circles....)

Been practicing with a little whip line model I made. Almost there. My goal is 3 or 4 mintes with out falling down:) Last time I tried my dogs chased it down like a bird. One actually caught it. Had to tape and glue it back togther. The pups thought it was great fun, I'm sure they're ready for another whirl. Don't think I'll let em chase the cox engine..might sting a little if they caught that!

The mighty .049 cox engine. Runs like a charm when bench tested.
