I would guess it's a Mirage but I don't know the number.

is it a mirage 2000?

If the situation wasn't so dire, I would say this looks like a set from the Thunderbirds.

Talk about getting grounded

Painted in 1977 and 78, the F-16 is 2' x 4' and the San Javier Mission ( just south of Tucson ) is 3' x 4'.

I still find the SR-71 my favorite. The Combat Evaluation patch/insignia is I'm sure a special tie-back to your Air Force days. Great work.

Thanks!! The site is www.sofinee.com but the images are not very good.

Now I know why your planes are literally works of art. David, you are one talented individual. Very impressive!

Nice pieces of artwork, David. I recall seeing a website containing more of your work. Is that website still reachable on the WWW?

They have no landing gear. Shame. I love the wheels down but in the case of the B 24 that's no big deal cause their wheels are ugly. Well, they are!

First off, beautiful aircraft. Next, do Todays Hobies Aircraft come with landing gear or did you just opt to omit them? I'm thinking of leaving it off the "Lib" and make it in flight as it will hang from my son's ceiling.

Both are the same scale, 1/24. The F 14 is a BIG airplane.

THe markings indicate it was made in 1978 and is stationed at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. That base would not have an F 16 in these colors. Work with what you have.

Very nice. It looks like a plastic model.
