I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

They're easier.

David, are these kits from Todays Hobbies more challenging then the ones from Guillows?
David Duckett, Comment for image # 2446831 Dec 11 07:43
It's two pieces of plastic glued together and went together fairly easily. The plastic molding is really good in these kits.

was it difficult to sand/form the air intact?

Thanks. The first build on here was the PBY 5A. I don't have any photos from prior builds that haven't already been posted.

Spot on as usual! Thanks for the reply over on the forums by the way. Hey, curious to know, what was your first build here on Virtual listed under your hanger? Also do you have any pics from any builds before the ones on here? Just interested to see... Thanks

If the weather is as nice as yesterday, covering will be finished today.

I don't really mind the price. It's $3.49 per bottle plus $6 shipping but I live 35 miles from town where it would cost more, if available. The decals cost $25 (!) but there's a lot of them, much more than actually needed for one model. Oh, and I also bought a 1/48 scale plastic kit for $15 to use for reference in building the landing gear and seat. Just part of the cost of doing business. 8)

I used Model Master acrylic on my P-51, and yes it's pretty good paint but a little expensive.

Normally I would just paint light and dark gray but these low viz (visibility) markings require the correct colors so $13.00 later...It seems to be good paint but I got it only for reference and I'll use Liquitex for the actual paint job. The colors are a bit darker than I would have thought.

Correct colors
