This was the second Dumas kit I built and was so impressed I ordered their B-26 Marauder, P-38 Lightning and P-26 Peashooter from the Penn Valley Hobby shop in the US, cannot wait for them to arrive!! |

Thanks guys and Rod, you're absolutely correct, it's a great kit. I have also gained a new respect for this plane while building it. |

Tailwheel unit glued in place but there are two more pieces to it. This is not the "plan way". The kit supplied tailwheel is a Guillows 1" standard item and too large so it will not be used. The roundel is from a Guillows Spitfire kit. |

I have a pic of a full scale under rebuild somewhere in my files. This skeleton reminds me of it. Beautifully done. |

Would tend to believe the precision of your work had something to do with the great fit. Beautiful, DD. Maybe I can sneak some build time in tomorrow. |

The canopy is covered on both sides with a blue plastic that is to be peeled off. The fit is great and the moulding is as good as that in a plastic kit. |

The wheel is nearly at the correct height. The sections of the fin/rudder & stabilizer/elevators will now be cut apart for final shaping. |

Yes, as you said, Moon, Saturn, Venus, Mercury. Very cool to capture Mercury so clearly. If the weather co-operates, I'll see if I can get the same, around 6:30 am on the beach tomorrow... |
