| Do you want to sheet the wing or "infill"? I think infill would be best as you can't enlarge the plastic on the nacelles to accept a bit (1/16) thicker wing. That is to place pieces balsa in the holes made by the stringers and ribs. Tedious is the best description. The master of infilling is D Duckett. Check his hangar. Most of us who do that have followed his example. |

I've decided to "DO" the wings, but need info... thickness and size of the sheets, etc. I"ve seen some photos on menu jr"s site but can't find much more on wings. Help .... |

| I'm looking at that pink styrofoam I use under my plans, and wonder if I could use that instead of balsa on my next build...? Any suggestions or comments like what to use for glue? |

I don't want to handle the wings because they are tissue and I keep breaking them. so I made them to slide in and out so I can work on the booms without fear of breaking the wings |

| Mark. On my last 2 models I have had a couple of hairline cracks appear after painting over spackled areas. I don't know what caused it but be sure that stuff is really dry. |

| Glad you like it...I'm working on the booms now. Don't know how many coats it'll take yet.

Very good. This is excellent workmanship. I built a Guillow's P-38 when I was recovering from surgery about 35 years ago and still have fond memories. You've done an outstanding job. Are you going to infill the booms? |
