mark eggebeen, Comment for image # 4064410 Oct 18 22:43
sounds easy too

I have utilized shrink tubing to quickly accomplish this task. I slice tubings rings of desired length, slide the rings upon the rocket body, then shrink them tight with a hair dryer or heat gun. Neat, symmetrical bands, quickly applied. Easy peasey!

I'm testing this to paint the rockets....slow speed on the drill ...My next trick is to try out fingernail polish from the dollar store

You should check out David Duckett build thread of Dave Diels Engineering, Inc Kit #29 Hawker Typhoon Mk 1B for building the propeller and spinner.
mark eggebeen, Comment for image # 4059119 Sep 18 12:31
Don, I like the idea of a thick plate .then the holes in the spinner will determine the location in the plate and the props could be inserted after all The work is done on the front of the fulages I,m a little too clumsy to work around projections that might break off. ,,,!!!
