I plan on trying silkspan on this build. Does it shrink like tissue. .? If I put it on wet, what glue works best? |

This is not my work space any more, but it's the best place for photography. Those wings are from the old build...the body was trashed !! don't ask!)
this build will hopefully have most of the mistakes made on the first one fixed. The canopies "did me in!" hello to James |

thanks, I'll check it out.
I think the staff member that found it on the floor was worried what I would say when they told me (?) |

I learned today that I need to wait longer after painting with water base paint. I ripped up the paint on a masked canopy !
The drying time is a lot longer than the fast drying spray paint!! The same time between sanding applies too. |

I'm happy with this covering...Sealed both sides of the card stock before use....used spray adhesive this time. worked out nicely !! |

From this angle, it looks like the cardstock really did a great job covering the wings! I would have never thought of that. It's giving me ideas for covering the Whirlwind wings. Seems a lot easier to finish then balsa sheeting! |
