I put tissue on the fuselage. I used white glue 50/50 water, but can't get the tissue to stay taut , after each coat is put on it still sags and won't come taut when it dries.
time to take it out sand get a real coat of primer on it and start over GRRR

Lots of great work there, Mark. Can't wait to see this one finished. |

After starting with the tissue, I realize that I have become somewhat sloppy on my construction assuming that I can cover anything by slobbering it with filler and sanding |

I can see why. If I had tried that on mine, I'd still be doing it. I did buy one of those cutters a few years ago. Handy little gadget. This is looking good. Should cover nicely. |

Post a photo of the parts to be folded for the cockpit and turrets. |

the instructions do not show anything about installing the folded card stock like the cockpit or the gun turrets |

It appears that what was once green card stock has been replaced with the white but the piece that should go on the front, behind the clear plastic, has been deleted. I do not remember any card stock in the cockpit or turrets. You can try contacting Guillows to see if they have any of the old stuff but their track record on keeping discontinued items is rather poor. If you can find someone with an older kit they could make a photo copy of the part. Later Guillows kits use black and white card stock, not green. |
